Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

TK-Nation's Andrew Ting takes a critical look at Headup Games' Greed: Black Border, and announces a week-long TK-N exclusive 25% discount! (That's right - you can get Greed: Black Border and everything else for the price of a McDonalds' Value Meal!)
Greed: Black Border is pretty much as advertised, i.e. "Diablo II with guns in space", with isometric action and a mouse control scheme similar to standard Diablo fare. However, there are nice touches which boost this title above the "generic clone" category. The level design communicates well the sprawling corridors of a derelict ship and there are lots of robots and zombies to fry, but I especially enjoyed the variety of challenges the developers placed in my way. There are deadly obstacles to weave your way through, puzzles which require more than two brain cells to resolve, and scripted ambushes to test your quick thinking and reflexes.
