Tis' the month to go mad on XBLA and PSN, when the both SOny and Microsoft go mental and release as many of their online arcade based titles as possible, prior to the holiday crush of retail items.
Krome Studios.

Come check it out, great little vid and some screens and decent review to cast your peeppers over.

It must be disconcerting to be an XBLA title released the week before a big arcade promotion. Microsoft spend marketing dollars on informing gamers they need to check out all of October’s ‘Game Feast’ titles, while a game like Blade Kitten is dumped onto the service with no fanfare of any kind.

There’s the feeling that Microsoft are getting a few final dregs on the release schedule out of the way before getting to the important games. Although it isn’t a stellar experience, Blade Kitten is good enough to deserve to be treated a little better.

Created and developed by Queensland’s own Krome Studios – the guys behind Game Room and a few under-performing retail 360 titles such as The Legend Of Spyro and Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes and the upcoming Star Wars II: Force Unleashed (Wii-PSP) – Blade Kitten is an intriguing platformer with an immediate pick-up-and-play sensibility that may catch people by surprise.
