This is a review of Dead Rising 2. Suprisingly, the game appears to be more of the same as the first Dead Rising. Based on the sales, it doesn't seem like many gamers will be dishing out the cash for this title.

Dead Rising 2 is impressive in that it can easily catch the attention of casual gamers looking for brief moments of excitement and fun. But after the combo weapon gimmick wears out its novelty, and the player comes to the conclusion that zombie grinding is more frustrating than rewarding, all that is left is a broken, mind numbingly repetitive and poorly executed game that had about as much potential as Fable II failed to realize.
