Empire Reviews reviews the upcoming multiplatform action fighting game, Stranglegold. The game which is based off John Woo, a famous assasin in action movies got 4 out of 5 stars from Empire Reviews. The game is currently set for an August 07 release.

When it comes to Asian action flicks, you can bet your ass that videogame geekboys make up the vast majority of the genre’s Western fans; so in developing a game that picks up where John Woo’s kinetic classic Hard Boiled left off, Midway’s Stranglehold is a stroke of genius and shoo-in for chart-shattering success.

    This game's being advertised quite a lot lately. Perhaps if there's a demo floating around I'll try that, but otherwise, games based on movies aren't my thing.

    Indeed it should be a very good and interesting title you get you hands upon, I for one will try more once I have seen other things from the game but at the moment I am not interested in it to much.
