Media Molecule managed to do something brilliant with Little Big Planet 1. They created a simple, cheap and delightfully entertaining game and then got someone else to build bucket loads of levels for free! Not only did the gamers build for free but what started out as a budget saving plan by the developers soon became the best feature of the game, the user’s took to it like a duck to water and boy did they build a lot of levels over 2.5 million in fact!"
