Kyle of Insert-Disc takes a look at a lesser-known Pokemon game. One that was not received quite as well as some of its counterparts, either despite or because of the different approach it takes with the formula.

I was 12 when Pokemon Colosseum came out and I was incredibly excited. Pokemon was finally coming out on a console! I pre-ordered the game, got the bonus disc, and even bought a game guide. At first, it seemed great. There was this weird new setting and you even caught Pokemon differently, but after a few hours of play I became bored and grew to hate the game. I put it down and sold the game and the guide. But a few weeks ago I decided it deserved a second chance, so I picked it up for cheap at GameStop to see if my hate was truly deserved.

I actually borrowed it from a friend to play it.
    At first it was cool.
    But then.. like halfway through,
It got so boring. Too many battles.
I didn't bother trying to catch all the shadow pokemon in the end.
I enjoyed battling Miror B. though.

I personally have never played any pokemon games outside the the gba/nds series. I have played a demo of Pokemon XD at a local game shop and thought it was cool though. I think I might try to get my hands on this game.
