NoobFeed goes back in time and analyses this 1998 cult platformer. It turns out that this joint effort by Epic Games and the forerunner of Guerrilla Games still holds up today. With a delicious and replayable single player campaign, a surprisingly enjoyable multiplayer mode, and an easy-to-use level editor, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 can still be a source of pure, mad fun.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is an example of a game that retains most of its initial values remarkably well in this day and age. It was released a good 13 years ago, placing it in the same timeframe as such horribly outdated games as Goldeneye and F-Zero X, yet it can still make for a damn good time with its mix of stylish 2D graphics and addictive arcade gameplay.
