The title says it all. Is the new shooter, BioShock, going to be better than the long awaited Halo 3? Games Radar gets right to it with an article, featuring GamesRadar's Senior Editor, Joe McNeilly, rooting for BioShock and his opponent, Charlie Barratt, the Xbox 360 Editor going all out for Halo 3.

They review both games in story, setting, art, multiplayer and combat. In each part, they give their reasons to why their game is better, countering comments. Go to the source to see who emerges victorious. The superior game and winner might surprise you. Or not.

Nothing, however, is as huge or important as the release of Halo 3 this September. The trilogy capper to one of the most successful videogaming franchises of all time is almost guaranteed commercial success. Okay, okay, it is guaranteed. But just because Halo 3 will be the biggest seller doesn't mean it will be the best game this holiday... or even the best shooter. That honor could go to BioShock.

To be honest, I never found any Halo game as the "Best shooter". They were good games, but I wasn't amazed. Bioshock is incredible. I loved the demo and I really want the final game. From what I've played, Bioshock is better than Halo.

Wow. Just wow final. Have you played Halo 3? Didn't think so. Say all you want about Halo 2. Don't diss CE, and don't diss Halo 3 until it's out and you've played it.

Halo is Halo, whether 2 or 3 or 4. Same dudes in fireman suits with plastic-looking weapons shooting other teletubby look alikes.

I'm positive that BioShock is better than Halo. But Halo has more fans behind it...and online. BioShock doesn't need online, imo, a great campaign.

How are you positive? Unless you have played it you can't know.

I do believe that a game with a deep and rich single player gameplay is more respectable than a game with a reputation of half assed campaigns and most of (if not all) of it's substance relies on multiplayer.
