After years of flogging a dead horse, Capcom finally seems to have given up on the Mega Man series but do the older classics still hold up today? Going back to a game 20 years later is never an easier thing.

The original Mega Man suffered from having a very punishing difficulty level, especially as you had to finish the game in one go. Mega Man 2 introduces a password system and tones down the difficulty.
