Even though it has been getting ~8/10, 4/5 on most sites, it seems as though most people are enjoying the game. Havent gotten through enough of the game to comment on the story/narrative, but so far it is nothing confusing, but you do have to pay attention to get everything. I have seen one plot hole though, so I have to agree there. However, a complaint about the last game was that it simply wasnt very fun until Chapter 11, but this game seems to be fun from beginning to end. I still think there will be plenty of haters who nitpick the plot holes, but pick skyrim for GotY with glitches galore.
