Master Chief's latest adventure lands later this week, so GamerSquad has dutifully hand-picked a selection of the countless Halo 3 reviews that appeared online earlier today. Is it a case of Spend, or Lend?

If you believe everything that Peter Moore says, Halo 3 isn’t a game - it’s an event. But now, with Bungie’s shooter set to launch in the States on Tuesday, and everywhere else on Wednesday, it’s crunch time for 2007’s most anticipated game, and no amount of Mountain Dew endorsements can save it from the penetrating glare of the critics.

ROFL, they gave it a spend rating. Like people wouldn't have bought it if they had put lend.

Reviews are kind of a moot point at this point in life anyways. With over a million preorders and a shitload of people waiting for it, it's not like a poor review going to have a negative impact on sales.

Yup, I agree. It's not like a bad review is going to have a negative impact on sales, just like you said.

Reviewers would be too scared to give it a bad review. If one even gave it a 8/10 a angry mob would hunt them down and kill them

@ the 100%'s. Flawless? I think not. Be real and actually get a review done on the game instead of going with the crowd.

Sorry, the Halo series seems too overhyped.
