IGN Folklore Review 9/10

9/10 is a pretty nifty score for the game, and with anticipation building, this article is sure to get people more eager about getting the game which is released next week. You can either read the full review at the source, or watch the slightly toned-down video review below:

If the beauty of Folklore could be summarized into one general theme, it would undoubtedly be its nearly masterful execution of stillness and motion, and the interplay between them. Without getting overly technical or poetic, let's just say that the imagery, sound, and even some of the gameplay mechanics harness these two opposing energies to induce some incredible effects both tangible and otherwise.

    Rubbish? It was unique, and I found it to be a blast. The demo made me appreciate Sixaxis again after the catastrophe that was Spider-Man 3...New Goblin was a pain to control.

    Those that love RPG, seem to just love this game, and that includes myself. It was unique, and just wanted me to play on... unfortunately it was a demo so I couldn't

    I have the Japanese version of this game, I bought it this summer when I went there for vacation and it's pretty good, kind of like the Ape Escape game but with way more options of creatures to use. But I hate having to look through to find the right folk to use for a task.

    You 75% of the time disregard Play, so we're getting a 7/10 average or so, give or take. Still should wait for some more reviews, though. Having not played it, it looks promising, with the few screens I've seen.

    Definetly deserves the 9/10 it got, really can't wait for this amazing game.
