Halo 3: It's good, but not the best

A rather unbiased review of Halo 3 (a rarity on the Internet at the moment, sadly). Quite lengthy, raising plenty of interesting points that may others seemed to have overlooked.

It has conquered most of the known world. It is hailed as a god among games. It has stolen nearly all the souls of gamers, and bought the rest of them. It has millions on their couches, working as expendable labour for it every day. It is Halo. But, like any good Roman Emperor, it still has a giant, knobbly and crooked nose on that cold face...

    Well, this is definitely pretty much the only review I can fully agree with. It's unbiased, and the reviewer is actually reviewing the game and isn't reviewing the damn hype or w/e.

    I hate how either all the reviews on the net so far are either really high cause the people are biased, or super low because they are Halo haters/people who just expect too damn bloody much (AKA expecting the SUPA L33T GAME OF DA WORLD!).

    It's great to see a good review finally.

    Well, well, well. I have to say that was the best approach at reviewing the game. I just hope he isn't targeted by undyimg Halo fans that only look at the score. Heh...

    Yeah. I think he was off in the sound though. While the effects and voice acting is fairly standard. Marty really did a good job with the score on all 3 halo games. He made the monk chant legendary...

    Yay, an unbiased review for a change. I too agree with it. Halo 3 is fun for me nonetheless, multiplayer's a blast. Anyways, thanks for an actual review, gamerwithin.

    I've been saying this since Halo. It's just not my cup of tea so to say. I do recognize that it's a really good game. I just don't go ape shit over it like a lot of people do.

    Woohoo; unbiased review ftw. At least he's actually reviewing the game and not just how well it's been recieved etc. =[. Just because the whole world buys a game doesn't mean it's good >>. Halo in my opinion is quite boring xD. I'm happy someone actually wrote a good review on it.

    Yay another Gamegrep article exclaiming how bad Halo 3 is!

    Although some articles i can't agrre with but this one i agree with 99%! The only thing i disagree is the final score! It should be:

    Gameplay: 8.8
    Graphics: 8.9
    Sound: 8.2
    Lifespan: 9.3
    Overall: 8.8

    I would've personally said:

    Gameplay: 9.1
    Graphics: 9.0
    Sound: 8.3
    Lifespan: 9.5
    Overall: 8.9

    But yeah, it's still a pretty good review.
