Assassin's Creed Reviews are in!

Linkin Park Fan | November 13, 2007 | Reviews | PC Playstation 3
Assassins Creed reviews have hit the web. The game is getting mixed reviews. Which seems like it's happening for to common in video games these days. Some websites praise the game, while others like it but say it is far to repetitive.

Gamepro:100

GamesRadar:100

Gameinformer:95

Gamespot:9/10

CVG:87

IGN:7.7/10
". A bad story, repetitive gameplay elements, and poor AI all lead to one of the most disappointing games in recent memory."
1up:7/10
Eurogamer:7/10
" while fairly gratifying, never evolves and ultimately becomes a bit boring, and quite amazingly repetitive."

Is there any reason IGN gave it a 7.7 for the 360 version and a 7.5 for the PS3 version?

Seems like the game is getting more good reviews that mediocre reviews. That is a good sign I guess.

Yeah it's weird, IGN says that the frame rater is slugish in the PS3 version but GameSpot (in a rare turn of events) actually says that the PS3 version has a more solid frame rate than the 360 version!

I'm confused... someone's not telling the truth and I wouldn't think that GameSpot would lie to help the PS3...

WHO THE *bleep* IS THUMBING DOWN TRUE SHIT?

GameSpot:"PS3 owners are blessed with a slightly more solid frame rate"

IGN PS3 review:"The animations are top-notch, but tough to enjoy with slowdown."

The review teams are different for consoles so you get slightly different scores now and then.

I can't say I'm surprised. I always thought the game looked like it had a good engine but it looked like it would lack good content.

Is there a reason why the trailer thing, says "Neverwinter Nights"? >_>

100's? WTF are they playing at? Even 9.5 is a bit high, biased reviewers probably (is there really any other kind? Everyone is biased to some degree)...

A lot of the lesser rankings pick mostly on repetativeness and awkward storyline.

Holy shit, Gamespot rated a PS3 game 9/10, stop the presses people. No surprise for IGN, they even rated the 360 version low man IGN is truly tripping lately. Eurogamer sucks anyway.

I love how people always cry foul when it comes to ratings of games they haven't even played for themself. _____ sucks, I'm not reading ______ anymore. Relax and wait to "review" the game yourselves.

Yes but IGN rated the 360 version the same as PS3 so wtf is up with that. Its not so much foul play its the fact people are lying. Gamespot never rates a PS3 game 9/10 or any that i saw yet IGN bad mouths both the 360 and PS3 version. I agree with Dez here.

No game is perfect, so any of the reviews which say it is, are full of crap. I feel that if you read IGN USA, IGN UK and IGN AUS you get a fairly broad view, as the editors from different regions all pick out different good and bad points.
