Alright all Devil May Cry fans are in for a treat because I'm about to summarise the most important points of this actual review. This review is one of the first English reviews to surface the Internet, anyway let's talk business here.
Game Reviews Blog were kind enough to post a Devil May Cry 4 review and share it with everyone on the Internet. The review talks about almost everything that you need to know. The review is also spoiler free, so it's alright to visit the source without fearing the game might be spoilt.
The reviewer receives two versions of DMC4. The Playstation 3 & Xbox 360 version. The reviewer moves on to continue saying that he beat the game in 14 hours in just 2 "sit in". Although he does claim that the game is memorable (in other words of course).
The story begins with Nero, although he isn't the only playable character since this is Devil May Cry so Dante is confirmed to be playable also. The story seems to be less bad ass than DMC 3 but the reviewer claims that the DMC4 story is much more emotional because you feel sorry for what occurs in the story. The reviewer hasn't felt that way since Metal Gear Solid and that's a really bold statement made.
The gameplay seems to be very difficult and casual gamers might have a really hard time in completing this game, but that's to be expected as all the previous DMC games have been difficult. So if your looking for a easy or moderate hack 'n' slash game, I say look elsewhere. The reviewer continues on saying that just when you think your about to get a break and recover your life gauge, more large groups of enemies attack you. So DMC 4 sounds much more difficult and simultaneously much more action packed than previous DMC games. The reviewer also draws a graph which showcases how difficult DMC4 was for him, you can view the graph below.
DMC 3 had some intense and gawping cutscenes on the PS2 but now with DMC 4 on next generation systems fan expect much more but will not be disappointed as the reviewer claims that DMC 4's visuals, live up to expectations. So which is better the PS3 or Xbox 360 version? The reviewer plays through both versions but he says that the Xbox 360 version feels wrong and it's much more comfortable to play on the Plastation 3 controller. With the Xbox 360 version having frame rate issues and slower loading times also.
The soundtrack is still heavy metal oriented although there are some opera like music which do suit the game perfectly the reviewer claims. The soundtrack has always been another feature that enhances the experience in DMC games and this one is no different.
From all the hit games that have been released the reviewer states that Devil May Cry 4 is true next generation gaming and if your looking for something that doesn't look upscaled, this is the game to go for. With a awesome story, intense battles and gawping visuals this is a game worth playing.
Also if you have a choice to purchase either the 360 or PS3 version, get the PS3 version the reviewer says.

So this day finally came. About 15 hours ago, a box came in. That box contained 2 disc boxes, both marked “Devil May Cry 4″. One was for the Xbox 360, and the other for PlayStation 3.
And I finally beat it. Guess which one?

I prefer the 360 controller, add in the fact I won't be getting my PS3 until March...
So I may end up getting it on the 360 instead.
I'll get GTA4 for the PS3 because the 360 version most likely has framerate issues.
And what bothers me is the difficulty but other than that, everything sounds about right. Especially Opera Music!!!
All hail to Sony!
Got a PS3, getting it on that console for sure, especially since the 360 is the one with issues (which yes, is a change from the usual "PS3 sux for teh multiplatz" statements you hear >_>
