Democracy 2 is a political strategy game recently released by Positech games. It is a very complex title, forcing the player to deal with making real-world political decisions while balancing the opinion polls.

D2 is a turn based political strategy game pitting you, the newly elected ruler, against every foe conceivable who might be a threat to your continued reign. You must balance proposed laws with funding and its collective effects on ALL your constituents. Fail to keep enough people happy and you might lose the next election. Really piss people off, and you might be assassinated!
