One of the first Super Smash Bros. Brawl reviews to surface the Internet and by the looks of things, players who have been anticipating this will not be disappointed.

This game doesn't feature many negatives since the only main one's turn out to be that the game can get a repetitive and fans who have played the previous game will find it really familiar.

All in all, the game scores a fantastic score and hopefully this game sets an example of how much time and desire a game needs to be memorable.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is set to be released 9th March next month in the U.S and sometime in Autumn for Europe.

Score:

9.3

Nintendo love spills from every pore and the multiplayer can't be beat, but Smash Bros risks growing too familiar. It never breeds contempt, but it doesn't quite muster that Galaxy magic.

Did you notice in the review that they took points off because they had trouble wiring their Wii to play online against Japan?

    What a bunch of dumbasses.

    wow, what assholes.
this game deserves straight 10/10's to possibly knock Ocarina of Time off of the #1 game of all time.

You do know that THE #1 best game of all time was and still is today as Super Mario Bros.! But i'm pretty sure that Ocarina of time is third, but something i don't agree with is that TETRIS is second!

You do know that IGN did that list?

Most lists have Ocarina of Time as the top game.

I hate Tetris, it's so boring. How could it be second?

IMO, Zelda OoT will always be the best game ever.

Signature moves aside, it's hard to see where Dedede differs from Bowser, and if Link, Ike and Pit weren't programmed by the same guy, we'll eat our sword flurry.
    These guys are morons.

Instead we find Smash Bros stubbornly sitting on Wii, only really making use of enhanced graphical power and a handful of Wi-Fi options.
Do they expect a Nintendo all-star game to be on the PS3?

And taking points off because they had trouble connecting to the Japenese servers, and because their choice lost?

    Worst....Review....Ever.

I can't wait to play it, I hope it's as good as it says it is. I hope I don't find it very repetitive, I hate games like that.

Solid score for the game. I'm looking forward to finally playing it when it is released here in the US.

How can you possibly complain about a 9.3? It's a great score, geez. Whether this gets a 8 or a 10, you're still going to buy it and enjoy it, aren't you?

Lol @ the people here who are complaining that Brawl didn't get a 10/10 despite the fact that they haven't even played it for themselves. Fanboys.

Lol @ The review who removed points for stupid reasons.

I can't believe people are calling it "the worst review ever" when it was given a 9.3, a score I personally believe to be a bit high because it's too similar to Melee in itself. Then again, I guess a person playing the series for the first time would give it a higher score which is probably why they did so.

It's the "worst" review ever because they removed points for idiotic reasons.

      1) They removed points because they had trouble connecting to the Japanese servers.

      2) They expected Brawl to be on the 360/PS3 (sort of)

      3) Melee and Brawl are from the same franchise. So of course they are similiar, changing the genre and style of a series is stupid.

It's not always stupid... MegaMan Legends, for example, turned out at least 10 times better than any of its 2D predecessors.
