IGN has put up their review for Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It has an over all good score, but one of their complaints is that it doesn't differ much from the first game. The game will be released this week.

Overall Score: 8.4:

November of 2006 was a great month for Xbox 360 gamers. Two of the system's finest titles to date hit the streets right before the holidays and players were beside themselves with how to budget their time in between the two. Should I spend time leveling up my character in the multiplayer of Rainbow Six Vegas or should I bring the fight to the Locusts as Marcus Fenix in Gears of War? For most the longstanding answer was the neon colored world of Vegas rather than the destroyed beauty of the other Unreal Engine 3 powered gem.

And from all of those developer videos Ubisoft posted a while back I thought this game would have massive improvements from the first. But now IGN claims the second game and the first have little differences. Well, we all know better than to rely on IGN reviews.

Hmm, not quite as fantastic as I had hoped. It seemed like they went for half-way done to on the shelves very fast, I think they could have spent more time adding extra features.

I loved R6V, so I'll get this eventually, but due to the similarities of the sequel, I won't rush to buy it. Still seems like it might be a fairly good game.

So what if it's not much different, why fix something that isn't broken?

9/10 at least, don't listen to these IGN fools.
