GTA4 Gets 10/10 from OXM

The Official Xbox Magazine has reviewed GTA4 and scans have hit the internet. With a shocking score of 10/10. Is the game really that great. We will just have to wait and find out.

    shocking score? They(OXM) gave Halo 3 a 10/10 so this in fact means almost nothing.

    I hope it actually deserved the 10 but we wont know it gets released.

      Yeah, but Halo is a microsoft game...there may be pressure to rate it high.

      They gave Mass Effect, and Bioshock 10's too.

      Fight Night Round 3/Halo 3 didn't deserve 10's though.

      Batting .500 as far as I'm concerned. Despite that they've all been good games. Only 2 were actually great though.

        yeah mass effect and bioshock deserved their 10's. hopefully gta falls in this category

      You just jealous that this game will be revolutionary and people who don't get this game will be left out.

      This game is not all hype, and if it is, its good hype not the kind that halo got. GTA games always delivers. There hasn't been a GTA game that didn't deserve the score and hype.

        ...I don't think you understand this but, I AM GETTING THE GAME. This rating is about hype...fans of GTA want to see great ratings, and they'll suscribe to the ones that give it great ratings. Needless to say, I'm a fan of GTA, <3 Vice City and GTA III, but again, hype rating.

        This ten is saying that it's flawless. That's friggin' impossible.

    Well here they were not too long ago pickign out all the bad spots of this game and now it's scored a ten on the rating from OXM. Works out fantastic must say =/

    10/10 isn't bad. Though I'll wait for a few more reviews before I actually take it to heart.

    And when I play it. That helps a lot too.

    This is severely overrated, people. No game can actually get a 10/10 score. No game is perfect. This is a biased review of a fanboy.

      Or maybe its just that damn good. Bioshock and Mass Effect got tens and from the looks of it, it was near perfect if not perfect.

        I'm sure GTA IV would be near perfect, but 10/10 means PERFECT 100%. No game is THAT good.

          The */10 rating system is not a judgement on game perfection. It is a measure of the game in comparison to other games in existence.

          Think of all games ever released to sit on a line. The worst of the worst (such as that shocking Truck game) would sit on 0 (some might say -1 ) and the best on the other end of the line at 10. A 10 rating is used simply to indicate that a game is one of the best of it's time period.

          It can also signify that the reviewers got hooked on the game while playing it, got really into it, and that they want to make it high as it's highly anticipated.

          I mean, look at Halo 3's 10's...it got us thinking that it is definitely worth it...but the 'fun factor' died down very quickly for us.
