Super StarDust HD was one of the top sellers of PSN. And When the new store was launched, along came with it the new add on for the game. The add on adds news music and game types and also allows you to change the difficulty. The add only cost 4.99, half the price of the original game.

Finale Score-8.2

You could argue that in Super Stardust HD, you have more than just three weapons at your disposal. You have your speed, your deadly boost and area-clearing bombs to take advantage of. But we can discuss the fundamentals of space combat some other time. Right now, we're talking about Super Stardust HD Solo, the latest expansion pack that adds additional content to the PSN downloadable title Super Stardust HD. Developed by Housemarque, the Solo pack supplements the single-player modes of Super Stardust HD and expands the preexisting content for about five dollars. Is this a worthwhile download for Super Stardust fans? Will the Solo pack reinvigorate the asteroid-filled action?

Perhaps you haven't yet played the original release. Stardust graced the PlayStation Store with beautiful, particle-filled shooting action that placed you in control of a small ship against hundreds of dangerous asteroids, enemies and bosses. In Geometry Wars fashion, you controlled your ship with the left stick and shot in any direction with the right. Stardust provided a more engaging experience, however, by giving you the ability to cycle between three very specific weapons that had strengths and weaknesses against different targets. On top of that, you could perform an invulnerable boost for a short period of time as well as trigger a bomb to wipe your surroundings clean.

Hmm, I wonder if there are new planets? No where in the review does it say that there are new planets, but from the new screens, those look new.
