  A Playstation mag giving a Playstation game 10/10, thats uncommon to be honest i would be mosre shocked to see them give it any less just because they need this game to sell consoles.

  I hate playing the fanboy card, but does anyone expect a Metal Gear Solid to be anything less than a 10?

    On a serious note, I'd rather read the entire review before going "lolz ps mag give ps game 10/10". Mostly because there was a certain PS mag that gave Warhawk a 6/10 because they couldn't play worth shit and they were taking their frustration out on the review.

  Lol @ people saying that the Playstation magazine is being biased by giving a Playstation game a 10/10, when the other Playstation games that were reviewed didn't get such high scores.
  Maybe if all the Playstation games got 10/10 then we could accuse them of bias, but some of the reviewed games got awful scores.
  
  
  I'm glad MGS4 is getting positive reviews, previews and impressions. I think MGS fans can rest assured that we won't be disappointed. *crosses fingers*

    <sub>Not to be a pessimist, but i wouldn't be so sure that the fans won't disappoint. Im sure Hype will play into MGS4, and If the GTA fans are disappointed with the 4 game, who knows it could happen to this one.
    
    On a side note lets wait to see what a non PS magazine says about the game. For some reason, the score doesn't really say much to me considering its from Sony mags.

      Just stop. You've had a bone with MGS4 and have been comparing it to GTA IV for a long time. If anybody's gonna be disappointed with the new gameplay (as with every other MGS game) then tough. Neither GTA IV nor MGS4 are half assed games and you can't ask more than that.

  One thing i am sure about is other publications will not give MGS4 a 10/10, IGN and Gamespot won't just because as it stands that rating is prestigious, giving it out twice in the space of a month just lowers its standard.
  
  The only reason why i said what i said earlier is the same reason why most Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 magazines gave GTA IV a 10/10, Sony and Microsoft need the sales and more importantly the console sales, casual gamers that buy magazines will not buy MGS4 if they saw it got 7/10... 10/10 is the only score this game could have gotten, you can tell this...
  
  Warhawk was not touted a system seller not by a long shot, it got 6/10 if i recall, Ninja Gaiden Sigma was touted as a system seller that they had stolen from Microsoft it got 10/10 by OPM, same can be said for other games like it... OPM and OXM give out more 10/10 ratings than anyone because they are trying to make money out of the games sales.
