  Disappointing to hear the story isn't as good because that's kinda what I look for in a game tbh. The camera apparently also has issues. Guess I'll have to rent it first but other than that, sounds like a better game than Sigma.

    You shouldn't look for story in action games. God of War's is pretty bad, DMC is *bleep*ed up, and Ninja Gaiden goes from big breasted CIA Agent in bondage gear to mechanized enemies and fighting giant blind trolls on bridges with bow and arrows.

  <sub>LMAO after hearing the score, im not as massively crazy about the game, sure I liked Sigma and want to play this but the storyline is also apart of a game. Sigma, while being a port from the originals and having its own exclusive stuff, had a great storyline. Which hasn't changed much from the originals. Its disappointing to hear about the bad parts of the game, still I want to play this.
  
  But I was expecting this game to hit 9.5, similar to its predecessors. Still 8.7 is a very good score. But I was hoping the storyline would be great though.
  
  I wish this game came out for the PS3, it could be awesome with the power of the Cell, and Itagaki making it for it.</sub>

  I believe it has something to do with the heavy hitter the week after, MGS4. I'm sure this game will get a few A's and 9's from other reviewers, but then again I do trust IGN more.
  
  It's fair to me, nothing's changed, a review won't stop me from getting a game that I am highly anticipating. 8.7/10 is a damn good score if you ask me.

  Its all to do with IGNs outlook on their review scores being prestigious, if they go through a few months of giving 10/10s like every publication is right now, then it will devalue what is one of the only scores in the industry that still means something.
  
  This means it some cases they may have to be a little harsher with their scoring, there is a problem with their ratings though. They were set up back when games were lucky to get 8/10, now games are getting so good even if the gameplay suffers it is a high 9/10 contender... I think this needs to change as games that deserve a high score get 10's but other games that may be just as good will get 9.9/10 or something equally as stupid just so 10/10 stays as prestigious.

    If you watch the gamersdye(I think that's the one) video where it shows the "First Ten minutes(really thirty)", he's playing on Acolyte and still has a hard time beating enemies without abusing power moves.
    
    Some reviewers have stated having trouble on Warrior(Normal), and none have attempted Mentor or Master Ninja. Rest assured, it's still going to be difficult.
