Images surfaced today of a round of Gears of War 2 being played on a somewhat different map than what came with the disc. The level seems to feature a large amount of imulsion which appears to be running through a ruined city. The only information now is for Photos, but contacts are being checked with both Epic and Microsoft. Is it possible this could be some DLC for Gears of War 2 already? Maybe. We'll have to wait and see.

Cranky Gamers UK has uncovered a juicy little nugget in the new Banjo Kazooie game, which apparenrtly reveals new takes on Killer Instinct, Battletoads, Jet Force Gemini and Ghoulies are coming to the 360 at some point. In news that can only be described as "epically awesome in the most glorious of fashions", Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi has told real gaming news site Eurogamer that we should all be expecting to hear an announcement about a RE5 demo "relatively soon", saying:

Lionhead over on the Fable II forums have said a big announcement is coming next week regarding the game, though they don't say what it is. Normally I can't stand rumours (just tell me when it is confirmed, darnit!), but I just can't say no to Fable. So, a PC version announcement, perhaps? Head designer Peter Molyneux has stated back in January there is no news "either positive or negative on a PC version just yet."

UK's Car Magazine had article about the Citroen GT concept car, which it stated that this car would feature in Gran Turismo 5 in Spring of 2009. Well as we already know Circuit City was already in bad times, trying to stay alive. Now it seems they're closing 155 of their stores.
So what does this mean to you? Well obviously it means discounts on games and TV's and the like. Check your Circuit City stores near you to see if they're having a store sale, perhaps you can get some new games for cheaper or any other games for that matter.

The OPM (Official Playstation Magazine) has a rather interesting tidbit of info in their latest issue. While it is still a rumor the magazine has reason to believe Sony may implement a system to give rewards to users who earn lots of trophies on their PS3's. Considering trophies and the 360 equivalents achievements haven't really had a point before now this could be an excellent move.

The rumor just won't die! At the Tokyo Game Show, Konami PR mouthpiece Yoshitaka Arai hinted that Metal Gear Solid 4 might make it's way to the XBox 360 due to the high demand for it to happen.

With so much information having come out of TGS 2008, it's not a wonder as to why this was missed... According to some websites, it seems that Sony announced the release date of the much-awaited and much-delayed Playstation Home to be November 19th 2008. With only two websites running this story at the moment, it seems to be more like a rumour, but there may very well be some truth behind this...

At this stage this is very much a rumour, since without official word, it's incredibly hard for anyone to be certain, but it seems that news has surfaced that the latest firmware update (which will not include Home, but will include the ability to take in-game screenshots) will be released between October 13th and October 19th.

Some sad news for and Team Ico fan. Rumors are that the new Team Ico game will not be shown at TGS like many of us have hoped. Nintendo Everything is reporting a rumor that the two companies will unveil a new joint game between the two companies: Sega vs. Capcom: Great Clash Generation at this week's Tokyo Game Show. The supposed platform will be the Nintendo DS, and will release in Q1 2009. Sega and Dimps will supposedly handle development, while Capcom will have supervising duties. With the threat of impending takeover lifted from 2K Games, it seems that another company have gotten into the eye lines of EA. This time it's Epic Games, the creator of Gears of War and Unreal Tournament series.

A rumor about Gears of War 2 has come out, that people who buy the game will get a special code that will let them unlock five multiplayer maps, called Gridlock, Subway, Canals, Mansion, and Tyro Station.
