Eyetoy Play 2 to be announced at Leipzig?

Eyetoy was possibly one of Sony's biggest hits for the casual market on the PS2. Alongside Singstar and Buzz its various installments sold millions. Now Eyetoy Play 2 is going to debut on the PS3 according to a rumor at Kotaku. If this is true it should be announced at the recent gaming convention Leipzig.

According to VG247, part of Sony's Leipzig press conference (at least, one of the parts we don't already know about) is to be devoted to an unveiling of the "next generation of EyeToy". Seeing as the successor to the EyeToy peripheral - the PlayStation Eye - is already out, we'll presume they're talking about a next-gen sequel to EyeToy Play

    I'm sorry but if the Playstation Eye isn't "Eyetoy 2" then what is it? It does everything the Playstation EyeToy did and more (it has a built-in mic).

    Kru Edit: Please read the story before submitting, it's not the Playstation Eye that they're releasing (which as I mentioned is already released) but one of those games for it.
