Some new Mega Man 9 rumors have hit the internet by way of Mega Man fanblog Protodude's Rockman Corner, with a reader who goes by the moniker "SSJ4" has requested that they be posted. As with all rumors, it must be taken with a grain of salt.

The rumors focus mainly on possible DLC for the game, that will remain intact across all three versions of the game. Some of the more noteworthy DLC were modifications to the Rockbuster/Mega Buster's normal shot, playable Blues/Protoman, Ryuusei no Rockman (Mega Man Star Force) skin, and more modern non-8-bit music. September 22nd is the supposed release date for the game, but it may be pushed back a week due to a "BIG" Virtual Console release that week.
