Please don't be true Uwe Boll to make LittleBigPlanet movie!

The absurdity of it makes it makes this rumor look all but impossible. But then you can never understand what's going on in this crazy german's head. Uwe Boll has apparently bought the rights to a LittleBigPlanet movie and production will commence in 2009. Time to break out the old petition me thinks.

In what comes across as a stretch even for the film industry, the soon-to-be-released PS3 title LittleBigPlanet is currently being developed into a full-length movie by infamous director, Uwe Boll. It seems that the petition to make him retire (titled, “Please, for the love of all that is good and holy, stop making movies!”) was unsuccessful, as the German filmmaker, known for his painful celluloid recreations of popular game franchises like Alone in the Dark (2005) and House of the Dead (2003), will be at the helm of LittleBigPlanet: The Movie, slated to hit theaters in time for the busy 2009 holiday season.

    I don't think the picture is meant to show it's credibility, it's not meant to be a real set or anything, that was just photoshopped to express further the utter ridiculousness of it all. I wouldn't count it as a fake just because of that, this is Uwe Boll afterall =/

    We'll just have to wait and see if it's true or not, then hunt and kill him if it is.
