LittleBigPlanet getting early release?

An email from Sony through Playstation Underground shows the release date for October 7th 2008, instead of the current scheduled release date, which is October 21st 2008. See the picture.

We all know how LittleBigPlanet is suppose to come out Oct 21, but according to an email directly from Sony via PlayStation Underground, it appears that it might be coming a couple weeks earlier then expected.

What do you think, typo? or early release?

    Typo. Due to the fact the game already isn't coming with the ability to create online, the game is being rushed as it is. Any further pulling back of the release date would result mildly bad.

    This wasn't a typo either. It was simply outdated info. It hasn't been updated!

    DEFINITELY not an early release, since the Beta doesn't end until October 11th -- 3 days after this supposed early release!

    It has gone Gold though. GTA4 went Gold 2 weeks before it was released. Still a typo though. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

    Good eyes too, I got the same e-mail and didn't even notice the error.
