Could We See a Sega vs. Capcom at TGS?

Akira_EX | October 07, 2008 | Rumor | DS Tokyo Game Show 2008
Nintendo Everything is reporting a rumor that the two companies will unveil a new joint game between the two companies: Sega vs. Capcom: Great Clash Generation at this week's Tokyo Game Show. The supposed platform will be the Nintendo DS, and will release in Q1 2009. Sega and Dimps will supposedly handle development, while Capcom will have supervising duties. The game is reportedly slated to be a hybrid fighting-RPG, and will feature Sonic and Mega Man.

Let's wait until this week's Tokyo Game Show to see if this rumor pans out.

So, this will be like Namco X Capcom, except since this is on the DS, so it'll have a higher chance of being released in America (if it's actually real...)

I can see Ryu and Akira from Virtua Fighter whippin' out wicked awesome comboes on people. Guy from Final Fight and Skate from Streets of Rage 2, Vectorman and Megaman, Chun-Li and Blaze, Arthur and Gilius Thunderhead!

OMG FANGASM. FANGASM ALL OVER AKIRA'S FACE.
