Remember that article about Sony trucks literally turn around to stop circuit city shipments?
Well as we already know Circuit City was already in bad times, trying to stay alive. Now it seems they're closing 155 of their stores.
So what does this mean to you? Well obviously it means discounts on games and TV's and the like. Check your Circuit City stores near you to see if they're having a store sale, perhaps you can get some new games for cheaper or any other games for that matter.
As we've reported Circuit City, deep in a rut and fighting to stay alive, is closing 155 of their stores. What's that mean to you? Video game discounts of course, if there's a closing store near you.
A Circuit City employee sent in an email last night to tell us she spent yesterday at her store running around slapping discount signs on everything. She also happened to handle all of the discount signage for the video game department. Here's the of discounts for today:
Systems (360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP) and their respective games - 5% off
All game accessories (controllers, batteries, cases, Xbox Live memberships, etc) - 10% off "Social" games (aka Rockband and Guitar Hero) - 10% off PC Games - 10% off Strategy guides and cheat books - 20% off

I was looking for into picking up a Quick Charge kit and some Microsoft Points at a lower price.
Anyway mods change this article to true. I just went to my local Circuit City and they were having a big sale and pretty much stated everything on sale. So its not longer a rumor. Thanks.
I also bought a game I wanted.
