Lionhead over on the Fable II forums have said a big announcement is coming next week regarding the game, though they don't say what it is. Normally I can't stand rumours (just tell me when it is confirmed, darnit!), but I just can't say no to Fable. So, a PC version announcement, perhaps? Head designer Peter Molyneux has stated back in January there is no news "either positive or negative on a PC version just yet."

Normally, we don't like to tease too much. You know, all this hype being generated by teasing the announcement that there will be an announcement in X-number of days. Who cares? But in this day and age where a gazillion titles are asking for your attention, I felt it might be the right thing to do on the blog. We've got some G o o d [Good] news for all Fable II fans next week, dare I even say it's quite a big announcement? Yes of course I dare say it's a big announcement regarding Fable II, next week!

DLC was my initial thought after reading it.

Yeah i can say the same too, this will be info about DLC to patch up some of the crapness fable 2 brings to us >_<
I can't see it being news about a PC release, Its definetly something about DLC or at least a patch to fix tons of crap.

PC version would be most welcome, I need to sink my teeth into more 360 exclusives that have made PC ports. Here's hoping for Gears 2 port.

Fairly sure Epic have ruled that out.

Due to risk of piracy, Epic decided not to make a PC port, sadly.

At least that's basically admitting DRM doesnt work.

I am going to be really really upset if this comes out for the PC (ala Lost Chapters) with all of the content that didn't make it in time for the 360 version...

One of those: Damn it, I should have waited! Moments. ARGH!

Omg, Its the fable 2 console.

Look at the article there is a picture of it and a citation saying

"You cant buy it, But it look's SOOOOO good"

why would they randomly put a pic of it there?

I doubt they would announce a PC version with only mere weeks of actual release, though you know it will happen at some point as it did with Fable and Fable:TLC. As to Gears, I wouldn't rule it out. Epic may have said no but if they get a decent DRM, I'm sure minds will be changed.

Basically if it makes them money, they will do it. Gears, Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed didn't take second thoughts to port

Yeah, But I guess mass effect was down to EA. Bioware said they wanted to just stay on consoles with the series, but then the buy out happened.

Dont know if DRM is a factor..Gears has little to none I believe, and Epic were making fun of DRM for Gears 2.

Are they going to eliminate the glitches? That would be great. The game is awesome in its own defense for 360. It has a really good replay value, especially if you want the 3 endings, and choosing between The Temple of Shadows or Temple of Light quests.

That would be very good news (if it were the PC version).

But a little too late, I bought the 360 version this morning -_-
