Luv the original but why can't it come out on PS2

Because the PS2 would explode into millions of little pieces that would hit you and cause little infections all over your face that would slowly swell and eventually cover your mouth and nose and then cause you to die.

In short: KZ2 is such a technological feat that no other console outside the PS3 would be able to handle it.

Thats true, and I believe that universally, irrespective of console or preference, all gamers need to acknowledge what Killzone 2 has achieved. It looks to be a fantastic title, and despite many neglecting the first, or disliking it, its a different situation here; Sony have provided an outstanding set of resources to the team, and they are wiser from past experiences.

This title will hopefully be what keeps me on my PS3 for months afterwards. The first Killzone achieved this, as did Killzone: Liberation for PSP.

I want it to come out just so people can stop saying it's *bleep*ing coming out. Seriously, since before the PS3's release people have put it in their "Oh yeah, well the PS3 has these exclusives coming soon!" lists.

You do realize that will never go away just because the games do right? New highly anticipated titles will always replace the old.

Uhhhhhhh what? It wasn't clear enough that I'm talking about just Killzone? You think I want the end of the concept of anticipated games? And someone agreed with you? Huh? 3+ years is a long time for people to keep saying "wait for killzone, wait for killzone, wait for killzone!"

Sometimes quality games take a while to make, y'know. MGS4 was amazing, worth every dollar, and look how long it took. We may not have enjoyed waiting, doesn't make it any less worth it when it releases.

Well you just made it sound like you were generalising it.

If it does come out on the 17th of February, I'll choose SFIV over this and get K2 later.

Screw that, I'd rather buy both at the same day.
