In a recent interview with Gamecyte, US publisher XSeed asked gamers to email them if they wanted to see a certain game localized in the US.

Andrew of Gamespot jumped on the offer and asked when Fatal Frame IV will make it to the states. While XSeed are not publishing the game, they confirmed that it is coming to the US. Here's hoping they're right!

Discuss in the Fatal Frame IV forum

Hi Andrew,

If you're talking about Fatal Frame 4 for the Wii then it's coming to the US, even though it won't be by us.

Can't tell you who's bringing it over, but keep your eyes peeled for an official announcement, hopefully sometime soon.

God just announce a damn release date Nintendo. You're such annoying with this shit.

I just hope this is true, cause I'm really getting mad at FF4 not being released in other area's.

Nintendo were handed a powerful hardcore title on a silver platter, and they neglect it. And then they have the nerve to talk about their maintained concern for the hardcore gamer.

Im really hoping for the US release to be very soon!

Ah, "sometime soon", isn't that the same release date as Mother 3?

You guys just can't give a company a break can you.

Can't you see there swamped with other more important games like WiiMusic which *gasp* isn't doing as great as wiifit or wiisports?

Then there upcoming titles like wiifun and wiipartytimefun that really takes alot out of the company.

They have alot on there plate to be given any more.

You people have no souls >=[

I hope to god you're joking? Wii Music is a horrible gimmick and sad excuse to be called a game. Its not more important than Fatal Frame 4. They complain about the lack of Hardcore titles, yet the hardcore titles they do have end up getting pushed aside for games like Wii Music which blows more trumpets then a Orchestra.

Yea sorry, when Nintendo was publishing Fatal Frame it meant they were trying to get more hardcore titles on the system, yet they just ignore it, and the fans, then NoA has the nerve to not know anything about this title or the publishers. Yea Nintendo has been pissing us off left and right, and as a Nintendo fan I have a right to be.

That sentence is sarcasm on a stick being shoved right in front of your face. If you didn't pick that one up, then I feel sorry for you.

No sorry, I didn't read it as sarcasm, I read it as telling us to stop blaming nintendo for issues like this when we all know its their fault. And with an avatar that is similar to Nintendo products, I assumed it was another one of the Ninty fanboys trying to attack our reasons for being pissed at them.

Big I don't care if you feel sorry, I don't need your pity.

I would love it if somehow Nintendo revealed this was actually a market strategy meant to get Wii haters to buy the game when it is actually released and use them to advertise. I know that won't happy but it would brilliant.
