Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Rumors

Uncharted 2 debuted its first teaser trailer just earlier today, but already some further rumors have surfaced. A mysterious source recently revealed some facts about Uncharted 2, which proved extremely accurate (it was available before the trailer) and gives credence to the other info. Apparently the game is 50% Uncharted, 25% Cliff Hanger and 25% MGS4, and naturally looks brilliant. It also won't be the only title Naughty Dog are showing off next year, another hint at Jak 4?

I don't like dealing in rumors and we've seen a lot of those types of people come and go now Surfer Girl, Games Blow, Skater Boy and a host of others. But I have word from a pretty damn good source that Uncharted 2 is set to make a playable appearance at GDC 09' coming up and will be officially unveiled by a major publication in December. Also, word has it from ol' buddy that at the VGA's the game will have a new teaser trailer for the game leading inward.

    Well I don't like rumors either. They cause unnecessary anticipation and huge let-downs later. Nevertheless, I read them but never listen to them, ergo this stuff means moot to me. However, I'd still like to believe the existence of a new Jak game. I always have always will until one shows up. But until I see some concrete proof, I'll keep hoping.

      The thing about this article is the person posted those rumors about 2 months ago, and so far most of them have been right.

        It could be fun, if they mean just the sneaking part. It'll certainly add more depth to the game instead of there just be fire-fights around every corner. Sneak your way through catacombs, or blast your way through. Just give a little diveristy to the diverse audience. I just hope that they don't bring in some crazy monsters like they did in the last one. I felt they took it a bit far with that. Maybe some crazy tribal people would have sufficed, but mutated Germans/Spaniards?

          Besides, the original was criticised for having too many gunfights, so a sneaking element would benefit it.

          Am I the only would who loved the zombies? They were so much fun, I want to see something similar in Uncharted 2, and It doesn't have to be zombies or monsters, just something other then mercs with guns.

    Stupid rumours, I don't stick with rumours. They usually end up fake anyway.

    Confirmations are the way to go for me.
