A VG247 source has claimed Traveller’s Tales is working on a Lego version of Rock Band for EA.

Our chatterer assured us the information was “100 percent correct”.

    Holy crap! It will be really sweet if it really is true. I've never played Rock Band, but I've heard loads of great things about it. And I'm a big fan of Lego games.
    Here's hoping for a multiplatform release if this is true.

    I fail to get the point of this...

    Ultimately it comes off as little more than a graphics swap. Replacing the band characters for Lego people. Sounds to me like something that could be done with a DLC rather than bothering with a new game. And unless it has some unique tracks and/or lets you use the Rockband DLC I don't see the point.

    I always thought the point of the Lego games was the unique style of the games. Rockband wouldn't be anything unique.

    Wow, I'm with Koloth, how will they do this? Other than lego graphics (which would be funny to have nonetheless), what would they change? There's no talking with the lego characters . . . would they come out with a new controllers that looked like it was made of legos?

    I can't really see Lego and Rock Band going together!

        Well because like Koloth said it's basically the same game except a graphics swap. And maybe a lego frame for the peripherals. But it would essentially be the same game. Same music.

        It would be quite pointless as a standalone game
