    Not sure what to think of this, Crytek could save the company, but also make it lose its style.

      Hmm, I would argue Crytek would bring a ton of value to Free Radical... I mean, Crytek gets style AND substance: The original PC version of Far Cry, along with now Crysis and Crysis:Warhead are prime examples ...

    I personally think that will come the games feel should remain but on a new engine. I would imagine Crytek would force upon the team CryEngine2 which while versatile is primarily built to make the most realistic graphics imaginable. This could also see the end of TimeSplitters on consoles.

    Timesplitters isn't that complicated - it could work easily with CE2. Free Radical is capable of making their own engines, but regardless - there may be enough base data from the startup of TS3 to continue with that. If not, at least they have the chance to get cracking from scratch (and take it as seriously as possible).
