Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

Some very interesting rumors have popped up about Assassins's Creed. Destructoid received and e-mail from Mr. J. Q. about how he saw a small screening of the game, and the location was in 15th/16th century Venice. If this is true, Venice is a perfect location for an Assassin.
I keep hearing about Assassin's Creed 2. You know it's coming -- there's no way that Ubisoft wouldn't be working on it. But there's still a lot of questions we have. And some answers have slowly been coming our way these past couple of weeks. Well, we'll call them rumors for now.
Last week, I met a fellow journo who...well, let's just say that he doesn't work in the US. His outlet is foreign. He gave me a delightful story of what Assassin's Creed 2 would be while we bar hopped. He told tales of lovely ancient Venice as a setting. He told me that Jade Raymond has a lot less to do with this title. He said lots of really nice things about what he saw behind closed doors.
And then today we get a mail that echoes a lot of what I heard earlier. Mr. J. Q. gives us a lowdown of what he just saw with his own eyes: Assassin's Creed 2. It's too early to know for sure, but we're feeling pretty good about the info, and these little hints and glimpses of what the game will be like. A tip of the hat to you, Mr. Q.
You can read the full mail after the jump.

DUH *FLICKS HAIR*
Now this setting with be awesome, but what other cities can we visit?
Well, maybe the 3rd one....
I haven't even finished the first one TBH XD
Even if it is, it isn't like Ninjas go 'out of fashion' >_>
But I would have preferred ancient Japan, and traditional(ish) ninjas, as opposed to Modern ones...
