GameStop.com posted a page to pre-order the Collector's Edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum. The page listed extras that came with that edition of the game, but took them down soon after. It now says the contents are to be determined.
The list included:
-12" Batarang
-DC Encyclopedia
-Bonus DVD
-Soundtrack
-DLC Pack #1
This also tells us that there will be DLC for the anticipated game, although what was included in the DLC was not revealed.
The Collector's Edition has a price tag of $99.99, and the pre-order will ship on June 9th of this year.
GameStop has posted their pre-order page for the collector's edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum. And it just so happened to list all the extras that come with the $99.99 price tag for about an hour. GameStop has since removed the list of extra goodies, replacing it with "Final contents of collectors edition are to be determined." Huh.
Well, if we're to believe the original list was accurate, Batman loving gamers with the extra cash will be treated to a 12" Batarang (hell yes), a DC Encylcopedia, a bonus DVD with behind the scenes features, the soundtrack, and the "DLC Pack 1". This confirms that Batman: Arkham Asylum will have extra downloadable content after its release, but whether that means more actual gameplay or just extra costumes is unclear. If this IS what we get with the collector's edition, once this game comes out on June 9, everyone in the G4 offices better be prepared to duck at a moment's notice. There will be a lot of flying projectiles being thrown around, I'm sure of it.

I'm too much of a Batman nut to pass on that.
