Hideo's Kojima's next project is supposed to be not Metal Gear Solid related, however whether he's involved or not a vital hint to the next game may have been given away at his presentation, the words "Mission: The next MGS" and a picture of Raiden the cyborg ninja from MGS4 in the background being on the last slide. Perhaps an indication he is to play a vital role in the next game? Maybe just symbolic? E3 can't come soon enough!

I hope it really shows what he went through, in detail, between MGS2 and MGS4. I think people would accept his attitude/mood in MGS4 a bit more if they actually saw how he got like that, instead of just hearing or reading about it all.
If it's not a stealth game, then I'm sure it will be more of a spin-off than a major MGS title.
I mean, taking stealth out of MGS is like taking Survival-Horror from Resident Evil and turning it into an action game. It'll NEVER happen.....
I see what you did thar.
Ahem...I have no idea what you're talking about....
This is, of course, if it is a game revolving around Raiden. It's still possible they just used him for the picture.
Make all the trailers and everything out to have us play Cyborg Ninja Raiden, then 30 minutes into the game we start playing as regular Raiden. Or, and this next idea would make more sense story-wise, they could have us play as regular Raiden until the last hour or so of gameplay.
I doubt they'll do anything like that, though, but I think I'd honestly enjoy it.
