Nothing But Shooters discusses the recent rumor that Treyarch's next Call of Duty game may center on Vietnam, in part, and suggests that it may be a good direction for the company and series, especially considering the shadow that Modern Warfare 2 will cast.

A new set of maps for Call of Duty: World at War (due in June) wasn’t the only major piece of news floating around recently pertaining to Activision’s famed FPS series. Rumor has it that Treyarch’s next contribution to the series may center on Vietnam, based on Activision’s supposed efforts in obtaining rights for Vietnam War-era music.

    I've always wanted this so badly. Considering how well the COD series did with WWII, and the fact there has been no awesome Vietnam game yet, it seems like a good fit.
