Hideo Kojima's E3 Announcements Could Include MGS4 DLC, MGS4 360

More rumor and speculation regarding Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Evidently some downloadable content is headed to PlayStation 3, and another console will be getting some MGS4 love.

I was emailed an interesting rumor earlier this morning concerning the upcoming Konami announcement coming from the Kojima team. Now, some of this information I have heard previously from outside sources, but with it now circulating a little more, I feel as though it should be shared.

    Can someone clarify how that = Metal Gear Solid 4 [360]? or even Metal Gear in general really?

    If it does then Konami are being REALLLYYYYY subtle.

    Where are they basing these assumptions off of??? Seriously, I have yet to even see anything alluding to MGS at ALL in the teaser pics. PS3 DLC sure, but how in hell do they get "MGS4 is coming to 360!!!" out of this??

    Well, from the posted picture above, it's obvious that the green grass represents the ever growing 360, and the clouds stand for all of the PS3 fanboys being sad at MGS4 no longer being exclusive. Oh, and the trees on the left mean DLC. Pretty obvious stuff.

    Actually the rumor itself comes from an inside source. This one guy said he got into Microsoft's studio, and they showed him MS's E3 lineup, and they also revealed a top secret project to him that no one outside them know about. There was also another source indicating MGS4 trophies and a 360 port.

    Two sources saying the same thing seems suspicious. Contrary to my above statement, I think we may be porting MGS4 for real.

    I still remain highly sceptical of any idea that MGS4 is being ported. The main reasons:
    - Disc space
    - System power (How many times has Kojima talked about his vision for MGS4 only being possible on the PS3? And even THAT wasn't powerful enough for him!)
    - In-game advertising (Use of Apple products such as iPod and Mac are prevalent; although this could be changed)

    I'm not ruling it out entirely, but I just don't think we'll see a Metal Gear title on the 360 unless the power/space gap is closed.

    Well I for one do not care if it is ported. No money gained or lost from the move. And If Xbox-only owners want to sample what I consider to be the Greatest single achievement in gaming history, then they might just be able to.

    I can just picture GEKKOS and METAL GEARS RROD'ing out on the battlefield and snake running around with a Zune, frustrated at its design, colouring and features. Windows Vista operating some of the most technological pieces of equipment in-game.

    Yay.

    MGS4 on 360 is a complete joke. There's no way it would be any good on the 360. I am a 360 guy, and playing MGS4 on PS3, it's just certain to tell it could never live on the 360. Cutscenes would have to be cut out, thus making the game complete bullshit. Ask anyone- they skip the cutscenes, they are complete fags and truly don't care about MGS. They just wanna kill something
