Rumor: Majesco picks up Gauntlet for the DS

The Nintendo DS title "Gaunlet" was anticipated by many in the gaming community. In February all trace of the title had disappeared, the game was presumably canceled. The ESRB however has a listing for the title revealing it also switched publishing hands from Eidos to Majesco.

In February Gauntlet for the Nintendo DS had surprisingly disappeared, no one was willing to comment regarding the games status and fans assumed it was cancelled. The ESRB however has revealed a listing for the "canceled" title.

    Well Eidos was hard up and now they're with Squenix so I guess that complicated things..

    As long as it gets put out I'm happy -- certainly a title I'm looking forward to...provided it's better than Dungeon Explorer. Quite liked that one, but I think the shit graphics really hurt it. Maybe it won't matter here, Gauntlet being Gauntlet and all.
