Amazon.co.uk is currently taking pre-orders for Capcom's upcoming Dead Rising 2. The game's price is £27.96, which is around 46.55 American Dollars. That seems... oddly inexpensive for such a big-name game.

While surfing throw various Amazon listings we found something strange, apparently Amazon UK is taking pre-orders for the upcoming Capcom title Dead Rising 2 for £27.96 which converts into 46.55 US Dollars.

    Dead Rising 2's been on Amazon for about £30 for months. It's still on Play.com for £30. That's pretty surprising considering that most games retail for little less than £40.

    Hmmm. I can guess the price will change. It isn't being released for about a whole nother year. There is sure to be a lot more content than Dead Rising- I just don't see why they would drop it down so low in price.

    UK does not equal US... Just because we pay the equivelent of $46 doesn't mean you won't be paying $60. In the UK we have all sorts of pre-order bonuses, bonuses for those that order online. For the last 3 years or more if you order a game or a DVD online it is generally 25 - 30% cheaper than you will find it in store. So more than likely unless that happens in the US you will still be paying about $60 as per usual.
