Michael Jackson's death was sudden and a shock too many people. He was famous for his music, but it seem's like he wanted to dance into the video game industry. Something that many of his fans probably don't know about, and just us gamers, but there was a Michael Jackson video game in the works, being created by his own company. Now the fate of the game is uncertain.

The late, legendary king of pop Michael Jackson was no stranger to video games. He even had his own on Sega Genesis called Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker (video below). But what surprised me was that upon hearing about his death, news about an upcoming video game was also brought up, for reasons concerning a delay.

It's better to have it covered than to leave it out. More importantly, it has a lot more significance now than it did 5 days ago due to the obvious circumstances.

Agreed with that point. However, still a rumor though, kind of a messed up thing to put out there as fact.

I think they should just finish it if possible and release it.

I really doubt that this was in the works.

It's too fishy. The same way they had his interviews on his life story read to roll on the day of his death.

That's called an obituary. Every TV network and radio makes them for most major stars YEARS in advance of when they think they might die so they're ready, and then just updates them every so often...

Whether a game was in the works or not, doesn't matter, an autobiography movie is guaranteed.

How can he do an autobiography if he's dead?

        Hmm, wrong term, BIOGRAPHY movie.

Autobiography... well, if it's an autobiography, it's a biography done by the person who it's about. In this case it would be just a biography movie.

Unless if you were making a joke, which would fly right over me since I don't know whether there are many biography movies disguised as autobiography movies around these days.

Edit: and now this post is redundant.

Yeah. they are producing an autobiography of him. I saw an article about it in jet. I believe it's going to be called man in the mirror. They have some guy from the hit series one on one to play as him.

        This is not a joke.

Ok, that would be a biography, not an autobiography. They can fake a first person perspective but that doesn't make it any more legitimately by him.

Wouldn't suprise if there was a Guitar Hero: Michael Jackson... but his own game? I doubt it.

He had his own game several years ago on the SNES. Never played it, but I assure you it exists.

It was on Mega Drive, Master System and some other home computers. Not SNES.

Are they silly? 'The fate of the game is uncertain.' I don't mean to sound insensitive but finish it without him and make a metric *bleep*ton of profit by dedicating it to his memory.

Don't see why they wouldn't completely cash in on his death, it's too big of an opportunity to miss lets be honest.

I don't believe it one bit to be honest. I believe that he was working on a comeback album but definitely not a video game.

The videogame exists on a classic console. The Angry Video Game Nerd covered it, I think.

^Yeah he did. That one sucked though, all it was was him in a white coat doing the moonwalk and taking down some pointless/stupid enemies.
