Update: Our bad, it appears this is all mere speculation!

Another tidbit we seem to have missed regarding TRINE: the Xbox LIVE Arcade version of the game will feature online co-op (as opposed to the currently instated local co-op).

At this point, this makes it the only version of the game to support it, though the team has stated it could come to the PC and PSN versions, depending on sales performance and other things.

So Trine begins on PSN and PC, then a 360 version is announced afterwards, and suddenly the 360 version becomes the flagship version? Gimme a moment, I'm getting dizzy...

Yeah, me too, between this and the different pricings/pre-order deals, I'm ready to drop. Haha.

For once the Xbox has the upper hand on something.

Normally the 360 will lose a title to the PS3 and then the PS3 will get extra stuff, least its the other way this time.

It's quite ironic that it was quite the opposite not long ago, whereby the PS3 was losing things and the 360 would get extra content whilst the PS3 didn't. Shows how much things have changed, though for better or worse cannot be determined.

Yup, first it was PS3 lost stuff and 360 got extras. Then 360 lost stuff and PS3 got extras. Now the PS3 is losing stuff and the 360 is getting extras.
        Damn that's a mouthful.

I'm not arguing against the point, I'm just wondering since I haven't noticed it myself, with what has the 360 lost content on and PS3 gained? The only example I can think of is that Mirror's Edge map.

Tales of Vesperia , Eternal Sonata , Ninja Gaiden and Bioshock are the first coming to mind.

You mean the games that came out first on the Xbox LONG before the PS3 got its hands on it? Those "extras" are almost compensation content for super-late release.

Precisely. PS3 waited a year for Bioshock and got some rather minor DLC (minor considering the price at least) whereas with, say GTAIV or Fallout 3, the 360 got the game straight away, and wasn't waiting too long for the dlc.

I think to say either one is one-upping the other DLC wise is redundant anyway, because there is so little which is actually exclusive it would be like deciding the winner of a water-bomb fight when they have balloons but no water xD

I really doubt this, unless they were showing the 360 version the whole time they were advertising for the PS3, which I don't put much credit to.
