A). Why would we want it
B). Why the heck are people still making games for PS2

C). WHY THE *BLEEP* WOULD WE WANT IT

For a and c: because its a good game (just rushed).

For B: because PS2 is still selling.

As long as it isn't rushed it should be good no matter what console it's on.

Indeed, why would anyone want it? Even with its motion controls it was rather average, and without them its not much to brag about.

I call b-b-b-bullshit. Unless if it's Natal/PS3 Wand compatible, it's not going to stand out on either console. Even then, there'll be developers jumping on the bandwagon and creating similar games.

We can use the right joystick to control the sword arm, and press a button to slash it.

Rayman rabbids Wii was ported to PC, 360, and PS2, and works flawlessly without motion controls. It can work.

Red Steel was originally so mediocre in development choices and overall game quality that the only thing that saved it from sucking was the Wii Controls and even those were handled rather poorly when compared to say, Call of Duty World at War (Wii) and The Conduit. On the PS2, it is going to be terrible because not only will it be even worse than the Wii Version without Wii controls, but it will also be out dated in addition to this. On the 360 it might be decent assuming they touch up the graphics but I can't imagine that a few bloom effects and higher resolution is going to hide it's flaws any better than the Wii Controls hid the flaws of the original version.

No way. Save your money for Red Steel 2.
