A new job posting on Gamasutra makes a sequel to the game we all love to hate, Too Human, seem entirely plausible; this would be the second entry in a once planned trilogy.

[Developer Silicon Knights] is looking for someone with experience in a range of game systems, "including combat, UI, inventory, progression, levels, NPC actions, play balance and reward schemes." They will also need to possess "familiarity with the fantasy and science fiction genre and role-playing games."

I can feel the bile rising in my throat as I type this, dreading the thought of yet more Too Human in the world. I hear the original design documents have been sealed in a twelve-foot-thick case made of alternating concrete and lead layers, before being shot into space.

Lord only knows of the wrath that Too Human 2 would wreak upon the world.

I can see we're not going to get anywhere with this.

My point is the article is supposed to be about the rumor of TH2. Instead he is using it to attack the first game. That is unprofessional, and unfunny. If he wanted to attack the first game, then make a frakking article about it, don't use one little bit of legitimate news to justify your own personal bitchfest.

He wasn't taking himself seriously, why should you?
Some of us like humour in our news, if you don't, that's fine, but I don't see why you should get all pissed off about it and try to ruin it for the people that do.

          +1 thumbs for using "frak"!

TBMAG, the thing to remember is that the author of this article is a "blogger" not a "journalist" ;D

I remember reading somewhere that Too Human was originally planned as a trilogy. After how poorly the first one did, I'm a little surprised that Silicon Knights is still going through with it. Hopefully they can improve the controls and that godawful Valkyrie death scene.

I'm sorta hoping this is true, just to see Dyack vs. the world #2.

So Dyack can lose even harder than he did the first time?

I think the second game could actually be good. Because if you look at, they already have most of the work done for the sequel (they have the engine and everything) so they can just focus on fixing all the things that made the first game so lacking.

I thought Too Human was a fantastic game and definitely for fans of dungeon crawlers such as Diablo.

I welcome a sequel and seriously can't wait to see what they do this time around, plus it'll be another 360 exclusive to look forward too.

The first game was seriously underrated, once you start playing it, it's a fantastic game.

You seem to be the only one that thinks so, haha.
I've expressed interest despite the negative attention previously, but people told me it's in vain. I hope they make a sequel, I hope it's better, and I hope it comes to PC.

It got negative press because it was in development for like 10 years and in the end only ended up as a decent game. Not some amazing thing.

Based on some reviews I thought the game had some gamebreaking glitches to it that made it laughable?

I greatly enjoyed Too Human as well. A sequel is more than welcome.

I played and generally enjoyed the demo, but I had some issues with the controls and that god damn scene with the Valkyrie and I just never got around to buying it.

?!?! Hm?? I never played Too Human. Was it bad or something?

The consensus seems to be it was poor, but had a lot of potential.

It's a common misconception that Too Human failed on the market; it sold about a million and a half copies, which is pretty good for a game that didn't have it's own cereal or energy drink. It was, however, destined to be considered a failure by the company because of how long it took to finish it. Even though the game we received in 2008 had only been in development for three years, Silicon Knights were at work on a "Too Human" game for what, nine years?

I loved the control scheme... it was something new and fresh and worked surprisingly well. Interesting enough, the people who hated it A) Spent five minutes on the demo and gave up or B) Tried to play it like Devil May Cry and rape the joystick all over the place.

You have to think and be smart during combat, or else you'll see that Valkyrie scene more than you'd like. The problem is most console gamers have short attention spans and are dumb as shit.

    Here's to TH2!
