Possible Sighting of PS3 Slim in Best Buy ad

An anonymous source emailed cell phone pictures claiming to have been taken of an upcoming Best buy advertisement, prominently displaying the PS3 Slim, as well as a PS3 game sale.

Here at the Big Man and Garrett we like groundbreaking things. Enjoy this. Pictures below. These were taken with a cell phone from an anonymous source. Real? Fake? Definitely Awesome?

    Its fake. The photo of the ps3 slim used in the ad was taken from a concept that a fan made from neogaf.

    Quite a good 3D model, im trying to find the original link now.

    I must be the only one that thinks the slim is real. It may not necessarily be one in the picture but seriously, with people going on about it this much, it has to be coming. Plus supplies of the normal PS3 are said to be running low. Microsoft are dropping the price of the elite, so I doubt Sony are just sitting on their backsides hoping for the best.

      Well it wouldn't be the first time Sony told us something was never going to happen but ended up happening anyway. And if BesBuy is putting a PS3 Slim in their flyers, it can't be ALL bogus, can it?

        Exactly, ill be surprised if it doesn't show up by the end of this year at the latest, although I expect it earlier. TBH i think a cheaper, lower price PS3 accessible to the masses is a brilliant move, who cares if its slim or not?

    Best Buy has a habit of misprinting ads, as a few GG articles have shown us.

    Recently, for one weekend, they accidentally missed the 1 in "$199" so an ad read "$99" for the new Palm Pre. Store I went to was forced to honor it (I didn't get one) too. Owch.

      Apparently a friend of mine got an online misprint of a 52' Plasma for either $100 or $10.00. He got the confirmation letter, but I doubt they'll ship it.

      Oh man, why aren't I one of the lucky ones to find and act on these awesome misprinted ads!?

      Bad for the store, but man I wouldn't mind getting a Palm Pre for $99, or a Plasma for $100!

    Didnt they have a sign in stores like a year ago that said ff7 for the ps3 was going on sale that week? They must have some real dipshits in charge of advertising.

    Was reported this morning that Best Buy was advertising a new HDTV for $9.99 instead of $1600....so yeah, guess I can kiss that $10 Bioshock goodbye
