New PS3 Game Box Art for a New PS3 Slim

It turns out the PS3 may not be the only one to get a new shape, as new leaked photos have surfaced showing the game Eyepet with a redesigned cover. The new cover resembles a Blu-ray disc cover, with the Playstation name moved up to a thin piece of clear plastic on the top. It also looks as if this new design allows for more room for the actual game art.

    me too. but it is nice to have blu-ray and ps3 cases to be exactly the same now. they wont stand out as much in my collection.

    Dang, it took me like 5 minutes to finally realize what had been missing on this case. I don't see how changing it will really make people want to buy the game anymore. Changing the covers won't make people not want to buy it either though, so let them do what they want.

        yeah its cause the box changed. Now it looks sexy, it has a hole new appeal to it.

    Umm. This is not different. Its exactly the same as the usual UK packaging, except the PS3 logo s on top rather than at the side.

    Having two bars on the top is ugly :/

      yeah it does. well with the new game box comeing out it'll change the way ppl view the game its a game box revolution ppl will buy more games cause the box changed.SONY great idea.

    I can see it now Kaz Hirai with his permanent cheeky smile just saying at GamesCom... "In light of the just announced Playstation 3 Slim console, we have decided to give the Playstation brand a facelift. This is the new designed box art for Playstation 3.. Pretty neat eh?" He always does it, he'll announce something awesome and then in the same breath shit on it a bit.

      Well, he mentioned nothing about boxart changes; just the PS3 Slim. So I think for now our boxarts are safe.

    I don't like the coloring on the logos up there, but at least it's on the top now and not on side like it used to be.
