Remember 'Master Miller' from the first Metal Gear Solid game? He was one of my favorite Codec contacts, and one of the most helpful characters in the game... until the twist at the end, anyway. That was a kick to the gut.
Well, it looks like the real Master Miller might be appearing in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Kojima's blog:

"PSP colors on the final check.
The trail of hair and scarf - OK!
Reflection of the sunglasses - GOOD!
I like the sunglasses, 70's style, A handsome man!
I expect he'll be considerably popular."

How does the image confirm that the one on the pic is Master Miller? There's no mention of him anywhere. Remember, the guy wearing the sunglasses in MGS1 wasn't really Master Miller but Liquid.

Yeah but Master Miller was an actual person, Liquid just impersonated him. Considering this game is a prequel, I don't think its that hard to buy that Master Miller would be alive.

It's a blonde guy with a mullet and a pair of aviators. If that ain't Master Miller, it's another good impersonator :-D

...or just a very blonde Snake. XD

Snake recognized Liquid as Miller, so obviously Liquid did a hell of a job impersonating Miller, who was obviously real, otherwise Snake would not know who the hell was talking to him. going by that, its safe to say that what Liquid/Miller looked like in MGS1 is what the real Miller looked like.

and thats what the guy in the pic looks like.

It's odd though- judging by the MGS1 artwork, Miller's probably in his thirties or forties during MGS1, and this is forty years or so before the events of that game. Maybe it's Roy Campbell again.

Miller would be cool, though he wasn't exactly my favorite contact in MGS.

I don't know, I just liked Mei Ling, Naomi and such more. The twist at the end was good though.

This game looks to be having awesome graphics. Oh, seeing as there hasn't been a confirmation on whether or not this is Miller, it could be Roy.

Master Miller has been around since Snake's Revenge.

Yeah but that games a spinoff sort of. It's not the true Metal Gear 2 and it's not canon. Now I dont see this being Miller as he was obviously in foxhound during snakes time there. If Liquids disguse was good enough to full him (I dont know how codec works) then he would have to be at least somewhere around the age Liquid portrayed him as.
This is only 10 years after snake eater so MGS took place 30 years after this.

The fact that it's such high quality means we might actually have proper cutscenes for the game!

Will Ocelot be making an appearance in the game? The dude kinda looks like a younger Old Ocelot.

    "Liquid! How the--?!"

"You've served your purpose, you may DIE now."

    *Gas trap engaged*

Best MGS plot twist ever *bleep*ing made. That being said, it's not impossible...but it's a bit of a pointless addition really. Kinda like adding Campbell in Portable Ops, nice but resembles nothing of the "Colonel".
