Check out all the confirmed, rumored, and upcoming content for the Playstation Network. This week, Critter Crunch, Fallout 3 DLC, and minis will hit the store.

Coming off the heels of last week’s massive (and early) update to prepare for the launch of the PSPgo, this week will pale in comparison. Even though this week wont bring as much PSP content as last week, we still expect plenty more, especially in the way of PSP Minis. This week’s highlight is the PSN exclusive Critter Crunch from Capybara Games. Those of you with a Japanese PSN account can download the Bayonetta Demo. Other than that, expect some DLC, PSOne Classics, and more from this week’s update.

I'm not gonna make a Japanese account to download Bayonetta, but it's the only thing I'm really interested in. Good to see Fallout 3 finishing up the dlc though.

The JPN account is worth it. I hate to say it, and probably shouldn't say it because of where I work, but SONY US, needs to remove its head from its arse.

I've been bitching, very vocally to the SONY Playstation twitter account (@SONYPlaystation) regarding the lack of meaninful releases in the NA/EU stores.

Examples of why I am so livid:

      1) Vagrant Story - This has been available as a PS1 title on the JPN playstation store. One of my favorite PS1 games, and the first game that introduced the Final Fantasy world of Invalice, this is a cult classic that is IMHO PERFECT for the PSP. There exists a damn great localization (the original PS1 NA release) so why it isn't on the store while craptacular PS1 games are, is just asinine.

      2) I am a monster hunter fanboy (also explains why I rushed out and got the Demon Souls import 6 months ago), unfortunately Monster Hunter has never done well outside of Japan for 1 reason: Lack of easy to access multiplayer. Sony shot themselves in the foot by releasing Monster Hunter Freedom United without also bringing over from Japan, AD HOC PARTY, which allows you to play ad hoc psp games over the PS3.

Let me tell you, I finally gave in and downloaded it and it works. I am the only person here at UGO/1UP that is really into Monster Hunter, so it is hard to find players... and my friends can't stand the series. So being able to finally, after 3 PSP titles, get multiplayer whenever I like has changed the game from "cool" status to "amazing". Monster Hunter never has done well here because most gamers don't get to experience how it should be - with other players.

The insult to injury is that AD HOC party works, and works well. Once downloaded you can use your true PS3 account (don't need the JPN account)...

So what I've been openly asking Sony is, why?

Why the lack of updates regarding Ad Hoc US?

This isn't a 60-hour+ RPG with pages of dialogue that needs to be translated. This thing could be translated in an hour - simple and standard menu options - that's it.

I love Sony to death, I love the products and games, but the culture of blatant insensitivity and lack of response to what fans want is beyond asinine and frustrating.

I will continue to *itch to @SONYPlaystation, but I do so out of love. Lack of adhoc us = no excuse and it hurt MHFU sales. I can show posts on Capcom boards and gaming sites where people, like Seproth just don't want to go through the hassle of making a JPN account for ad hoc play, and because of that, wont purchase certain games.

Ridiculous, sorry for my tantrum... just needed to vent.

Cool, I'll be using my JAP account to download the Bayonetta demo, just like I did with NGS2.
